Hemlock and Lace takes place during the mid 1800's on the war-torn country of Klewyth. With a menagerie of mortals, werewolves and vampires, each seeks out their own survival. Two nations battle for supremacy, each with its own moral agenda. The mortal governed country of Crue Edfos - claimed now by an underground vampire family - has won a small victory over its neighbor, Vufrien. Dunmeath, a former farming village, now belongs to the Red Queen. The were-king and his people have been dealt this devastating blow while the people of Crue Efros celebrate their victory. Little do they know that the war is only just beginning and the tides of change are stained with human blood.
