The year is 2027, and it has been two years since the heroes of the Pan-Pacific Defense Corps successfully closed the Breach, the portal to the Anteverse from where the kaiju were appearing and wreaking havoc on our world.
Despite humanity trying its best to move forward, there is a feeling of unease as doubt lingers that the battle with the kaiju is truly over.
